AIDAperla’s christening eagerly anticipated
AIDA Cruises welcomes new fleet member with exclusive offer, bookable from July 1, 2017
Model and TV host Lena Gercke will be christening AIDAperla on June 30, 2017 in Palma de Mallorca. To mark this occasion, AIDA Cruises has put together an exclusive cruise offer with which the cruise operator is both thanking its loyal fans and also inviting those who have never yet experienced a waterborne vacation to sample the diversity of the new vacation worlds aboard the latest generation of AIDA ships.
The exclusive “AIDAperla Christening Special” offer can be booked from July 1 until July 10, 2017. On all AIDAperla and AIDAprima cruises during the period from July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, AIDA Cruises will be treating all guests to board credit of 100 euros*** for new PREMIUM and VARIO-price bookings.
AIDAperla will be going on seven-day cruises of the western Mediterranean. The capital of the Germans’ favorite island, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona are the start and end ports for these seven-day cruises which take in destinations such as Rome (Civitavecchia), Corsica and Florence (Livorno).
Until the end of October 2017, the Hanseatic City of Hamburg will be the start and end port for AIDAprima’s seven-day Northern Europe cruises. Since early 2016 AIDAperla’s twin ship has been inviting guests to discover some of Western Europe’s most beautiful destinations such as Southampton, Le Havre, Zeebrugge or Rotterdam.
After that, AIDAprima will be voyaging on seven-day cruises through the island world of the Canaries and Madeira. The start and end ports are Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife). The destinations visited apart from Gran Canaria and Tenerife will be Madeira, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
The diversity of experiences aboard the two newest AIDA ships captivates guests of all ages. Thanks to highlights such as the Beach Club with its weatherproof, UV-permeable membrane dome, or the Four Elements with its water slides and ropes course, both ships are sunshine destinations for the whole family – 365 days a year. Guests have a choice of 14 different staterooms including spacious Veranda staterooms and Panorama staterooms on the exclusive Patio Deck.

Guests can also look forward to many special events aboard both ships. For example, Tim Mälzer will be live aboard AIDAprima with his cookery school from October 14–21, 2017. As part of its vacation special, the BVB Soccer Camp for all soccer-loving kids will be taking place on board AIDAprima from October 28 to November 4, 2017. And those who want to delight their loved ones at Christmas will come along to pick up the best tips for delicious Christmas baking from world champion pastry chef Andrea Schirmaier-Huber aboard AIDAprima from December 2–9, 2017. With AIDAperla, it is not only exceptional gallery artists who will be welcomed aboard: Sommelier and “wine guru” Gunnar Tietz will be giving a guest appearance with his “Wine & Meat par excellence” program from September 30 to October 7, 2017.
