AIDA starts into its 2017/2018 Caribbean season

AIDAluna arrived in La Romana in the Dominican Republic on November 4, 2017, ringing in this year's Caribbean season. AIDAdiva and AIDAmar will follow in the coming days, and will also set sail from La Romana, Bridgetown, Montego Bay respectively Santo Domingo on exciting 14-day cruises during the period from November 2017 to March 2018.
For the guests aboard AIDAluna, their trip will firstly take them from La Romana to Ocho Rios in Jamaica, where it is worth paying a visit to Dunn's River Falls. The water here crashes down countless rock cascades to the turquoise Caribbean Sea. In Cozumel, guests can immerse themselves in the lost cultures of the Maya, and visit Chichén Itzá, once the capital of the Mayan kingdom. The cruise then continues on to Belize.
The clear, warm water of Grand Cayman offers the ideal conditions for every kind of water sport. Those who want to can get a close up look at stingrays or go head to head with wahoo, mahi mahi fish and tuna. "Mo Bay" – as Jamaica's second-largest city, Montego Bay, is also known – extends along a bay with gorgeous sandy beaches such as Doctor's Cave, Cornwall Beach und White Sands.
The cruise goes on to Samana in the Dominican Republic. The following day, the ship sails to St. Kitts. Here guests can look forward to a special experience: a ride on a double-decker bus to the historic scenic railway. The next stop is St. John's, the capital of the island state of Antigua and Barbuda. AIDAluna's Caribbean cruise comes to a close after 14 days on her return to La Romana.
