AIDA Cruises launches AIDAperla from Mallorca and AIDAprima from Kiel

With the sister ships AIDAperla and AIDAprima, AIDA Cruises expanded its summer program this weekend. AIDAperla departed from Palma de Mallorca on Saturday evening, July 10, 2021, around 9 p.m. for the first cruise of the season in the western Mediterranean. Two hours earlier, at 6 p.m., AIDAprima set sails for her first Baltic Sea cruise starting from Kiel.

With AIDAperla, AIDA Cruises is offering two different seven-day round trips from/to Palma de Mallorca until October 30, 2021. These can also be combined into a 14-day voyage. With Cádiz, Malaga, Cartagena, and Barcelona, AIDAperla will call at the ports of four impressive historic cities on the first voyage, which, in addition to visiting ancient sites, also invite guests to enjoy a relaxing visit to the beach. The passage through the Strait of Gibraltar is another highlight. On the second trip, Alicante, Ibiza, Valencia, and Barcelona are destinations that form a perfect link between the past and the modern age and at the same time invite guests to visit Spain's most beautiful beaches.

Kiel will be the port of departure and destination for seven-day Baltic Sea voyages to Gothenburg, Visby on the island of Gotland, and Stockholm every Saturday until October 23, 2021. An overnight stay in the Swedish capital is the perfect way to fully enjoy the metropolis and its magnificent surroundings.

Fans of the Mediterranean can also look forward to cruises with AIDAstella. Starting July 29 and running until October 21, 2021, 10- and 11-day cruises depart from Palma de Mallorca to Mediterranean highlights such as Barcelona, Rome, Florence, and Marseille. But water sports enthusiasts and beach lovers will also get their money's worth on the gorgeous Mediterranean islands of Corsica, Sicily, Malta, and Ibiza.

All cruises are carried out in compliance with AIDA’s enhanced health and safety protocols, as well as applicable laws and regulations. More information is available at www.aida.de/sichererurlaub.
