CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE RECEIVES TWO 2023 CRUISE CRITIC EDITORS’ PICKS AWARDS

Line recognized for “Best Value” and Refurbishment of Carnival Venezia

MIAMI, Dec. 6, 2023 – Carnival Cruise Line is named one of the best cruise lines of the year in the 15th annual Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards. According to Cruise Critic, the awards – chosen by the site’s international team of cruise experts – are the industry’s most comprehensive rankings.
Carnival Cruise Line took top honors in the following categories:

  • Best Value-for-Money
  • Best Cruise Ship Refurbishment for Carnival Venezia

Cruise Critic editors applauded Carnival for its value: “With each new ship, Carnival packs more and more into its fares – with fewer upcharges than most lines. The included food options are tasty and satisfying, the drink packages remain reasonably priced and there’s nonstop entertainment and activities all day. Whether you’re with friends, a significant other or your family, you’re bound to have a good time, with minimum damage to your wallet.”
In terms of the introduction of Carnival Venezia in June, Cruise Critic editors said, “Carnival has achieved the impossible: taking a ship built for the Chinese market, with a strong Italian theme throughout, and successfully rebranding it for the U.S. market. Carnival Venezia embodies ‘Carnival Fun, Italian Style’ – frescoes, statues and marble, combined with Italian twists to Carnival favorites like those at the Heroes Tribute Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint. New features include bar mashups like the rebranded AlchemyAmari – featuring Italian cocktails, plus an outstanding restaurant, Il Viaggio.”
