Costa Diadema departs on November 6 from Savona for a cruise to the Holy Land and Egypt, with a special program dedicated to members of the company's loyalty club.
Genoa, October 19, 2022 - Costa Cruises presents the C|Club 2022 cruise a unique holiday-event with a program of activities designed only for members of the Italian company's loyalty club.
A cruise that is already special from the itinerary, departing on November 6 from Savona on board Costa Diadema: two weeks to the Holy Land, to discover Jerusalem, and to Egypt, as well as the most striking destinations in Greece, Malta, Spain and France. A journey through time and history, through popular myths, legends, traditions and local cultures: from the Pharaohs to the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon, to the myth of Minos, Greek gods and the Templar Knights of Malta.
The on-board program of the C|Club 2022 cruise will feature three special guests, Arturo Brachetti, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León.
Arturo Brachetti is an Italian artist, famous and acclaimed all over the world, considered the living legend of transformism. The Guinness Book of Records lists him as the fastest transformer in the world, able to change characters in the blink of an eye. There are more than 400 characters in his gallery. Among the many awards he has received in his career are the Molière Award (FR) and the Laurence Olivier Award (UK). In 2014, President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano named him a Commander of the Italian Republic. During the Costa Diadema cruise, Arturo Brachetti will perform exclusively for Club members in a gallery of characters from around the world, for a fantastic journey.
Hélène Darroze and Ángel León are two internationally renowned top chefs who, together with Bruno Barbieri, sign Costa Crociere's gastronomic excellence. The French chef will meet C|Club members in two events (available depending on port of embarkation): in the first, she will talk about her career and her cooking philosophy; the second will be a real show cooking, engaging the audience. Equally interesting will be the event with Ángel León (available depending on port of embarkation) with a presentation of his innovative "cuisine of the sea" concept and a demonstration in which he will use some of the special and uncommon ingredients with which he composes his creations.
Also on the gastronomic theme, another event not to be missed will be the "stars" dinner, featuring three menus to choose from - one signed by Hélène Darroze, one by Ángel León, and one by Bruno Barbieri - in which for the first time the best “Destination Dishes”, the dishes by the three chefs that interpret the traditions and flavors of the destinations, will be collected.
But that' s not all. The program also includes musical performances - such as that of ABBA's most famous cover band, "THE SHOW" a tribute to Abba - theme parties and many surprises for members.
To best discover, with unforgettable experiences, the destinations included in the itinerary (Naples, Catania, Heraklion, Haifa, Port Said, Alexandria, Valletta, Barcelona, Marseille), guests can choose from a wide range of organized excursions, some of them created especially for the club cruise. For example, the tour of Jerusalem, through the most mystical places of this incredible city; the tour to Cairo, to relive the Egypt of 5,000 years ago at the Egyptian Museum, the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus; the tour among the sacred sites of ancient Egypt, from the pyramids of Giza to the Sphinx; in Malta, an excursion that includes the "Blue Grotto" and "Marsaxlokk," a typical fishing village.

In addition, the C|Club 2023 cruise is also on sale: it will depart on June 25, 2023 onboard Costa Favolosa, exploring the Norwegian fjords.
